Williams Hickman Electrical is aware that the environment we live in is very delicate and precious to us all.
In recent years we have all been made aware, that changes to the way we consume energy are necessary to stop “Global Warming” and that every effort to make our lives as “Carbon Neutral” as possible is the way of the future.
Williams Hickman Electrical has taken an important step and have gained Company Accreditation through ECANZ as “EcoSmart Electricians”. We have four of our senior staff who have gained certification through this innovative program.

As an Electrical company we contract to design and install electrical systems in buildings and factories from new, we also have a very efficient Service Team with a large and diverse customer base.
During the past couple of years Williams Hickman have been involved with the construction of:
• Pak N Save Wainoni,
• NZ Post Mail Centre Harewood, and
• Bishopdale New World,

All buildings with very innovative Eco Efficient designed lighting systems. These systems take into account the level of natural day light and dim the artificial light source giving a huge power saving and helping to move these companies closer to being “Carbon Neutral”
